B-EPICC in Ethiopia

In Ethiopia, The B-EPICC Project addresses the impact of, and adaption to climate change in the areas of hydrology and water resources, agriculture, forests and biodiversity, and migration. When it comes to hydrology and water resources, B-EPICC focuses on the water-food-energy nexus under climate conditions, seeking to work with local stakeholders on modeling and policy development. Likewise, in agriculture, working together with local actors is fostered: policy makers are provided with average cropping risks for the current climate and the current climate projections. Here, it is crucial to assess the vulnerability of agricultural systems to climate impacts at the subnational level to identify focus regions for climate adaption.
